Description
The AWOL LuxVision is the world's first 4K 120Hz ultra-short-throw (UST) laser projector with optical vertical lens shift, promising better motion performance for gaming, movies and sports.
In this video, I take a first look at the new AWOL LuxVision at IFA 2026, and explore five of its most interesting features, including:
• 4K 120Hz input and output for gaming, movies and sports
• Optical vertical lens shift for easier installation without digital keystone correction
• Up to 6000 ISO lumens of brightness
• Hot-swappable expansion boards, including four-input HDMI Multiview
• Customisable colours, materials and finishes (CMF)
I also take a look at AWOL's next-generation floor-rising ALR screen with an anti-pinch safety mechanism, as well as some of the different living-room and outdoor installations demonstrated at IFA.
The AWOL LuxVision has an MSRP of $6000 or £5000, although the company will be offering a special launch offer when the projector is officially released in October.
