The Hisense UR9S, LG MRGB95, Samsung R95H, Sony BRAVIA 9 II & TCL X11L were calibrated to industry standards, with their brand identities masked, before being compared side-by-side by a panel of 7 professional & enthusiast judges, with three Sony BVM-HX3110 professional mastering monitors serving as reference.
We evaluated 8 key areas of picture quality, including dark-scene performance and local dimming, colour accuracy, HDR, motion handling, screen uniformity, video processing, bright-room performance and out-of-the-box picture accuracy.
