Description
For the first time, the HDTVTest TV Shootout is expanding beyond OLED. Five flagship Premium LED TVs will battle it out first, with the winner advancing to face the best OLED TVs from LG, Samsung and Sony in our 2026 TV of the Year Shootout.
The Premium LED contenders include RGB Mini LED, Micro RGB, True RGB LED and SQD-Mini LED technologies from Hisense, LG, Samsung, Sony and TCL. All TVs will be professionally calibrated, compared side-by-side using real-world content, and judged blind against a Sony BVM-HX3110 mastering monitor where applicable.
