We spent the whole day smoking freshly butchered pork & homemade sausages. But let’s give it to my dad for being able to fast build this open smoker-grill pit for my mom this morning.
Besides smoked beef, smoked pork is also a great ingredient Hmong people love to make and have. Its smokey and rich flavor pairs great in soups. It goes really well with pretty much any kind of vegetables but my favorite is with sour bamboo.
