On November 15, 2025, as part of Water Justice Lab End of Season Celebration, NATURE Lab and iEAR presented a screening of the documentary “The Story of Plastic” at The Sanctuary for Independent Media. This sweeping look at the human-made crisis of plastic pollution and the worldwide effect it has on planetary and human health was followed by an interdisciplinary panel discussion organized by Professor Sarah Cadieux which included artist Nicole Chochrek, scholar Heather Davis, and Beyond Plastics National Organizing Director Alexis Goldsmith, and was moderated by Water Justice Lab Youth Mentor Ileya du Boulay.
