The curious caveman was the one who left the cave. Walked past the supposedly flat earth. Pushed every boundary anyone had ever set. Gina Pell says curious and uncurious people have always existed. In Chinese, curious is 好奇 (好奇, hào qí): 好 is to love or be fond of, 奇 is something strange and new. Fond of discovering the strange. That is curious. 好奇心 (hào qí xīn) is curiosity: add the heart at the end, because in Chinese curiosity lives in the heart, not the head.
