In ancient China, the character 歲 (歲, suì) did not mean years old. It meant Jupiter. The Chinese observed the five visible planets and used their orbits to build a calendar. Jupiter's cycle became a year. A year became an age. So every time you say your age in Chinese, you are counting planetary revolutions as the ancients mapped them. Luke Wragg is eleven years old: 我十一歲 (wǒ shí yī suì). He has been dancing since he was five and already trains at the Royal Ballet School.
