I can't possibly be the only one where cats interrupt your work and day. Pleasingly so. What a nice break from the stresses of a day, having a cat visit you and absorb your warmth and trust you.
Cheetahs do this too. My lap and laptop is warm and why cats lay on you and your laptop. Cheetahs have very thin fur and not much fat layer in their skin, so they can get cold easy. They also burn LOTS of calories and need more food in winter to compensate for the colder weather to maintain temperatures of 34C or 102F. That is why you see cheetahs snuggling up to me in some of my videos where I spend the night.
