Description
Ruger is suspending production of some of its most iconic firearms, including the GP100, SP101, LCR, SR1911, PC Charger, PC Carbine, and more. But after looking deeper into Ruger's 2030 strategy, I think there's a much bigger story here—and it could completely change the future of Ruger.
Why would Ruger step away from firearms that helped build its reputation? Is the company making room for updated designs, more modern rifles, compact platforms, or an entirely new generation of firearms?
In this video, we're digging into Ruger's major lineup changes, the evolution of the RXM, the future of its revolvers, and the possibilities for modern platforms that could compete with the big dogs.
Could this actually be one of Ruger's smartest long-term decisions, or is the company risking the very firearms that made it successful?
Some of these possibilities are my own theories, not confirmed Ruger announcements. But the company's stated direction gives us plenty to talk about.
Let me know what you think. Which Ruger firearms deserve a complete redesign, and what would you like to see Ruger develop next?
