Description
Burning barricades, flying bottles and a tiny clash with the police come at the end of a peaceful protest led by the grassroots USB union in central Rome.
Before the tension erupted, demonstrators marched to the Colosseum where they set up a tent camp, vowing to continue into the weekend in protest against the cost of living, the country's economic crisis and increased military spending.
