Mexico City comes alive with colourful costumes, skeletons and elaborate skull makeup for its annual Day of the Dead parade!
More than 40 groups took to Reforma Avenue, filling the streets with elaborate costumes, traditional Catrina figures and vibrant displays celebrating Mexico’s cultural heritage.
But did you know the parade itself was inspired by a Hollywood film?
The large-scale celebration was introduced after the release of the 2015 James Bond film Spectre, which featured a fictional Day of the Dead parade in Mexico City.
Since then, the spectacle has become an annual event in the Mexican capital, bringing the film-inspired celebration to life.
