Description
Dubai Ride 2026 wraps up successfully as cyclists take over Sheikh Zayed Road for Dubai Fitness Challenge!
From enthusiastic cyclists to sleepy little ones, participants were up before sunrise to take part in one of Dubai’s biggest annual fitness events.
With Sheikh Zayed Road completely cleared of cars, riders took on two routes: the 12km Sheikh Zayed Road route for experienced cyclists and the 4km Downtown family route for children and beginners.
Dubai Police and other authorities ensured the event ran smoothly, with road closures and extended Metro hours helping participants get to the event.
This year also brought a colourful twist with the first-ever Dress Your Ride competition, offering Dh10,000 prizes in four categories and filling the streets with creative costumes and decorated bicycles.
With Dubai Fitness Challenge off to a successful start, there's plenty more happening across the city!
