An Auburn police officer was placed on administrative leave after a struggle Wednesday with a man reportedly running in traffic, police confirmed.
Officers were dispatched to Auburn Way North and 37th Street Northeast around 3:15 p.m. Oct. 28, police said. The first officer tried to give the man commands, but he did not comply.
The officer then used a Taser in an attempt to get him to comply, according to police.
A physical altercation followed as the officer tried to handcuff the man. Three more officers arrived, and it took all four to gain control of him and handcuff him, police said.
