Longtime CID Vietnamese restaurant Mi La Cay closing after more than 30 years

KOMO News Guide Yesterday

Description

A popular Vietnamese restaurant is closing after more than three decades in business.

Mi La Cay opened in 1992 and has been a fixture in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District, serving generations of customers.

In its final days, a line has stretched out the door at times as customers hope to have one more meal.

The owners told KOMO News it’s simply time to retire. For many, Mi La Cay was more than a restaurant. It was a place filled with childhood memories.
