The Pedal Electric AWD S is a wildly powerful moto-style e-bike with dual hub motors, all-wheel drive, full suspension, and enough power to push well beyond normal e-bike speeds.
In this review, we test its acceleration, hill climbing, braking, range, handling, off-road performance, comfort, and what it’s actually like to ride a 100+ lb dual-motor e-bike.
With both motors engaged, the AWD S rockets from 0–20 mph in about 4.5 seconds and became the fastest bike we’ve tested up our Black Hill climb, averaging roughly 19.5 mph to the top. We also recorded nearly 46 miles of range using a single motor on max assist.
The bike ships as a Class 2 e-bike, but it can be unlocked for higher speeds in Sport mode, so riders need to understand where those settings are legal to use.
It’s heavy, extremely powerful, and takes some learning before you unleash both motors—but if you want something fast, burly, and seriously fun, the Pedal AWD S delivers.
