The Lectric XP Lite 3 is the third generation of Lectric’s lightweight folding e-bike, and it still starts at $799. We tested the $999 long-range version with the 672Wh battery, fenders, a front light, and a suspension seat post. In this review I go through the 300W Stealth M24 rear hub motor, the 28Nm of torque and what that means on a climb, the single speed 56T/16T drivetrain and whether it ghost pedals at 20 mph, and the Star Union 602 hydraulic brakes with 180mm, 2.3mm thick rotors, which are some of the best I have tested at this price.
You will also see our Black Hill test results on both throttle and pedal, our brake test, our range results of 25.78 miles on turbo and 44.57 miles on eco, a full walkthrough of the 3.5 inch color display and its advanced settings, how to fold the bike, and my take from a mechanic’s standpoint. I finish with who I think this bike fits and whether I would take it over the XP 4.
Would you take the lighter weight of the Lite 3, or the extra power and suspension of the XP 4? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for watching, ride safe, and I will catch you on the next one.
