That's backward, and here's why.
The ball is faster than any player on the floor. Nobody in the gym can beat it from one side to the other. One good pass moves five defenders at once, and no amount of dribbling does that.
PGC Basketball has a saying: "make the ball the most athletic player on the floor."
Most players never give passing real practice time, because nobody films it and nobody posts it. But you only get great at what you take pride in. So decide whether you're proud of your passing. If you aren't, you already know where the next hour goes.
The best guards in the country aren't the ones who score the most. They're the ones who involve everybody.
Passing is how a player says, "I see you."
