THE CALF EXERCISE NOBODY DOES
A few days ago I posted a tibialis machine exercise that reached hundreds of thousands of people.
One thing became very clear...
Most people have never trained their tibialis.
Many don't even know it exists.
In this video, I'm performing standing tibialis raises.
The tibialis anterior runs along the front of your shin and is one of the most overlooked muscles in the body.
Yet it plays a major role in:
𦡠Ankle stability
𦡠Balance
𦡠Deceleration and movement control
𦡠Lower leg strength
𦡠Supporting healthy knee function
𦡠Building more complete lower leg development
Most people spend years training only the back of their lower legs while completely ignoring the front.
That's a mistake.
What's interesting is that some groups of people have understood the importance of the tibialis for years.
π Snowboarders
π₯ Drummers
π Sprinters
πββοΈ Long-distance runners
π Race car drivers
Why?
Because all of these activities require significant dorsiflexion, ankle control, lower leg endurance, stability, and force absorption.
They may not always call it the tibialis, but they know when it's weak.
And they definitely know when it's strong.
From a bodybuilding perspective, developing the tibialis can also make your lower legs appear thicker and more complete from the front.
The best part?
You don't need fancy equipment.
You don't need heavy weight.
You simply need consistency.
Start with 3-5 sets of 50-100 reps and focus on creating a serious burn.
Trust me...
You'll know very quickly if you've been neglecting this muscle.
π Before my recent videos, had you ever trained your tibialis?
YES or NO?
