► Get ready for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by putting your medical imaging knowledge to the test! In this video, we analyze two different mammographic images to determine which one shows calcifications with a higher risk of malignancy.

🌸 We break down the differences between standard mammogram views, including the craniocaudal (CC) view and the mediolateral oblique (MLO) view, and explain how to locate a mass in the left upper outer aspect of the breast.

🌸 Learn how to identify coarse calcifications, which have a distinct appearance, are typically benign, and represent involuting fibroadenomas that require no further concern.

🌸 Contrast those with linear branching microcalcifications, where finding a cluster of five or more within a 1 cm area is considered highly suspicious.

🌸 Discover why these findings warrant a biopsy and how they are classified under BI-RADS 4

Test your skills and learn how to differentiate between harmless breast calcifications and high-risk signs of malignancy!
