• 8g vanilla sugar
Spice Dough (Dark Layer):
• 150g unsalted butter, softened
• 100g brown sugar
• 1 medium egg
• 240g all-purpose flour
• 10g cocoa powder
• 4g salt
• 15g spekkoek spice (or a mix of ground cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, cardamom, and a hint of anise.
