British comedian and actor Russell Brand has been convicted in London of rape and sexual assault. He was found guilty of one rape and three sexual assaults at Southwark Crown Court.
Brand, 51, denied the allegations, saying the encounters were consensual or had been misremembered, Prosecutors described him as a sexual predator.
He was acquitted of two other rape charges and one attempted indecent assault charge, Brand faces the possibility of jail.
