VoicingFlow 4 takes the app far beyond voicing analysis and visualization. You can now build complete piano voicing workouts, transpose them through all 12 keys, generate backing tracks, edit the timeline, transform voicings, export sheet music, and even create finished tutorial videos—all inside VoicingFlow.
In this tutorial, we create a complete rootless-voicing workout from scratch. We start by choosing the harmonic progression and selecting voicings from the Voicing Library. Then we improve the voice leading with the new voicing-transformation tools, adjust the harmonic rhythm, and turn the progression into a 12-key workout using different modulation patterns.
We also explore the new Timeline Frames panel, including:
• Undo and redo • Insert before and after • Voicing inversion and octave transformations • Harmonic-rhythm presets • Measure-based workout selection • Different 12-key modulation patterns • Expanded chord-history display • Backing-track generation and mixing
Once the workout is complete, VoicingFlow can export it in several formats:
• Audio with piano • Audio without piano for practice • MIDI • MusicXML for Sibelius, MuseScore, Dorico, and other notation software • A complete video with VoicingFlow’s theory-aware visuals and backing track
This also creates an entirely new workflow for music teachers and online piano educators. You can design an exercise, generate a complete 12-key version, export the score for your students, create a practice track, and produce a visual lesson without rebuilding the same material in several different applications.
