We’re in Salem, New Hampshire this week for our nephew and soon‑to‑be niece’s wedding — and the weekend starts with a surprise.
The morning of the wedding, the hotel fire alarm goes off and everyone pours out of the building. Once things settle, we head to the church for the ceremony and then ride the bus back to Labelle Winery for the celebration at Americus Restaurant.
It’s a beautiful day with family, stories, laughter, and a whole lot of love.
On Sunday, we fly home and quietly celebrate our 42½‑year vow‑renewal anniversary, a tradition Scott and I keep just for us.
Lori and Carl pick us up at the airport — and they bring Punkin so we don’t have to wait to see her.
