We woke up at 3:45am to catch our early morning flight to Boston… and just minutes before boarding, everything changed. The flight was delayed due to runway construction in Boston, pushing our departure back two hours.
Once we finally got in the air, the day smoothed out. Doug and Rose share a ride in their rental car to the hotel. We meet Michelle when we arrive at the hotel, and check into our hotel to regroup after a long travel morning.
It’s one of those honest travel days — early alarms, unexpected delays, and the people who help make the journey easier. Thanks for coming along with us as we kick off our East Coast weekend.
