Description
This Vobot V05E review tests the budget AI voice recorder, its app, and the software question that matters after purchase. See how it handles calls, meetings, transcription, summaries, storage, and everyday use before deciding whether the lower hardware price is enough.

For factual accuracy, the Vobot Recorder benefit includes 300 free transcription minutes per month for 12 consecutive months. From time to time, eligible promotions may provide additional transcription time, subject to the applicable campaign terms.
The Vobot V05E is a slim magnetic recorder designed for phone calls and in-person conversations. I unbox the recorder, case, magnetic ring, and charger, then walk through its physical call and meeting modes, 8GB storage, claimed recording time, and NFC digital business-card feature.
The real comparison is not just hardware. The Vobot app handles transcription, searchable text, summaries, key topics, and action items, so the ongoing software experience matters as much as the recorder itself. I compare the V05E’s $109 positioning with the Plaud Note and soundcore Work, including form factor, storage, battery claims, and included transcription time.
The biggest open question is Vobot’s wording around 300 trial minutes. That is different from a clearly recurring monthly allowance, so frequent meeting users should understand the processing plan before treating the lower purchase price as the full cost.
