Description
Today I'm cracking open the Levoit Superior™ Studio Smart — a smart evaporative humidifier with an MSRP of about $139.99. Unlike an ultrasonic humidifier, it doesn't put out a visible cloud of mist — the water passes through a wick filter and releases invisible water vapor instead, which is meant to keep the minerals in the filter instead of coating your furniture in white dust.

**Disclosure:** Levoit sent this unit out for review as part of their influencer program. This is a first-look/unboxing — I have not used it long-term yet. I'll follow up in the comments (and possibly a future video) once I've actually run it through a Maritime winter, when the air actually needs it.
What's covered in this video:
- Full unboxing — what's actually in the box
- How the evaporative wick-filter design differs from an ultrasonic humidifier
- The 5 built-in cleaning/maintenance features (EPA-registered antimicrobial surfaces, auto-drying mode, self-cleaning cycle, dishwasher-safe parts, washable wick filter)
- Tap-water compatibility, rated noise level, and VeSync smart app control
- Full spec rundown
