Description
This usmile D50 OralCam review shows what happens when a smart electric toothbrush can scan your teeth for plaque. After using it for about two weeks, I test its camera, on-handle results, Snipe Mode power adjustment, and companion app in a normal brushing routine.
The D50 uses violet light and its built-in oral camera to highlight areas where plaque may be present. A guided five-zone scan appears on the toothbrush screen, and the app provides larger images, brushing guidance, scores, and progress history. In Snipe Mode, the brush estimates where you are brushing and increases intensity when you reach an area flagged by the scan.
