After spending weeks in Oregon's high desert, I headed back into the mountains for a quiet day of van camping, hiking, and enjoying the cooler weather. What started as a peaceful morning took an unexpected turn when Ben noticed something I completely missed near the trailhead.
We spent the day exploring a beautiful wilderness area, crossing creeks, enjoying a great hike, and relaxing beside the water before settling into camp for the evening. Sometimes the best days are not about covering miles or chasing adventure. They are about slowing down, enjoying good company, and appreciating the simple moments that make life outdoors so rewarding.
