After making it through the heat in Nevada and spending time at Overland Expo West, we slowed things down in the high country of Arizona for a much needed break. Cooler weather, quiet forest roads, and a morning exploring with the Velotric Summit 2 e bike turned into one of those simple days that reminds me why I enjoy this lifestyle so much.
In this episode, Ben and I take the Velotric Summit 2 out to explore old forest roads near camp, enjoy some incredible views overlooking the Grand Canyon, and spend the afternoon visiting the canyon itself for the very first time. Along the way, we talk a little about slowing down while traveling, spending more time enjoying the places we camp, and finding better ways to explore without constantly moving the van.
The Velotric Summit 2 has been a great way to explore farther from camp while still enjoying the outdoors at a slower pace. It has made it easy to cover more ground, get Ben out for exercise, and enjoy places that would normally require packing up the van and driving.
Sometimes the best days out here are the simple ones.
