✍ Experience the Sacred Peak from the Clouds!
We took to the skies for the ultimate tour of Adam’s Peak (Sri Pada | श्री पाद ) with "TRIP ME"! Seeing this sacred mountain from a bird’s-eye view was a first for us, and it was absolutely breathtaking.
📍 Journey Highlights:
Take-off: We started our journey at Ratmalana Airport, Sri Lanka’s very first international airport, at 8:30 AM.
The Flight: It only took about 20 minutes to reach the mountain range.
The Views: We flew through the clouds and witnessed the stunning Gartmore Falls and several other waterfalls cascading directly into the Maussakelle Reservoir—a truly rare sight!
The Worship: The pilot did two full rounds around the peak, allowing us to worship Sri Padaya from above and see the summit from a perspective few ever get to see.
The Return: On our way back, we enjoyed beautiful coastal views passing over Panadura Beach and the iconic Kalutara Bodhiya.
If you’re looking for a way to see the "Sacred Footprint" without the 5,000-step climb, this is it! It was an amazing experience we will never forget.
