✍ TRIP PISSO crew set off on a beautiful village adventure to Hanwella Village in Ududumbara, the hometown of our friend Lakshitha. This peaceful village is located in the Kandy District of Sri Lanka’s Central Province, surrounded by breathtaking nature and simple village life.
We spent one day and one night in Hanwella, staying at Knuckles Holiday Inn, owned by Mr. Lakshitha, who warmly welcomed us and made our stay truly special. During our time there, we experienced authentic village life exploring vegetable farming, discovering hidden waterfalls, and observing the daily lifestyle of local villagers.
The next morning, we traveled about 20 km from Ududumbara to visit the stunning Na Ella area. Near Meemure, in Kumbukgolla Village, we reached Na Ella Eco Lodge, owned by Mr. Udaya. Mr. Udaya, along with his two lovely children (his little daughter and son), guided us on an unforgettable journey to Kosgolla Ella and Na Ella.
We hiked up to Na Ella, and the experience was absolutely incredible. From the top, we enjoyed a 360-degree panoramic view, surrounded by countless mountains. One of the highlights was seeing the legendary Lakegala Mountain of Meemure clear, majestic, and truly magical.
