be quiet! are following up with a new air cooler — the Dark Rock Pro 6.
This cooler not only boasts high quality, but also attractive features and, as I discovered, remarkably good compatibility despite its relatively large size. Furthermore, this CPU cooler particularly shines with its great adjustable fan speeds, allowing for extremely precise fan control. The unique aspect being it's ability to operate semi-passively, where the fans simply stop spinning at a specific, given CPU temperature, making no noise at all.
For silence enthusiasts, the Dark Rock Pro 6 could be quite appealing. However, it doesn't quite deliver the cooling performance I had initially expected from it. More on that in a moment!
