Today I'll be testing a compact yet powerful Mini PC featuring a 12-Core CPU, 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and Iris Xe graphics.
This is the GMKtec NucBox M3 Pro, which is not only available with slightly different hardware configurations but also as a barebones solution without RAM and SSD.
This Mini PC should be suitable for even more demanding tasks such as image and video editing, rendering, and the like. However, due to the integrated graphics, you shouldn't expect top-notch gaming performance. Nonetheless, I did put the device through its paces in one or the other game title.
As a matter of fact, this little beast impresses on several fronts, but unfortunately there are also a few downsides that need to be mentioned.
Needless to say, I've also done plenty of testing regarding the power consumption, temperatures and noise levels. The M3 Pro Mini PC actually offers 3 power modes for us to choose from. In today's video I'll show you how to get the most out of your device. There's a pretty significant difference.
