In terms of price, many would classify the power supply I'm taking a look at today as "high-end". The manufacturer certainly advertises high quality, which supposedly applies to both in theory and in practice. But are there perhaps any drawbacks you should be aware of?
Today I'm dealing with the "Power Zone 2" by be quiet!, boasting a 1200W output and impressive Platinum efficiency. The PSU, of course, adheres to the latest ATX 3.1 standard and comes with a 10-year warranty. So the manufacturer most certainly shows confidence in its own product quality.
Although there might be a few minor downsides, I can already put your mind at ease — in my opinion, the Power Zone 2 unit is a much better choice over the Pure Power 13 M by the same brand I recently reviewed. This applies both technically and in terms of pricing.
Ultimately, as is so often the case, the question remains: Is this power supply a good fit for you, and are there perhaps more affordable alternatives? I'll be able to tell you more about that once we've taken a closer look at the internal components and their level of quality.
