Powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 388 (8 Cores / 16 Threads) and Radeon 8060S integrated graphics on a custom Mini-ITX motherboard, the T5 Max allocates a massive 21GB of VRAM automatically in SteamOS. While Minisforum locked the 48GB of unified LPDDR5X memory to 6400 MT/s (down from the 8000+ MT/s seen on some Ryzen AI Max+ 395 systems), how much does that slower RAM bandwidth actually affect real-world 1440p AAA gaming in Linux? Let's take a look inside the hardware, check out the SteamOS 3.9.5 setup at 120W TDP, and benchmark 8 demanding AAA games at 1440p!
