Yesterday, I almost didn't show up.
I told myself I didn't have time.
I even considered skipping my daily creative practice.
But I created anyway.
And something unexpected happened...
The rest of my day felt lighter.
I was more focused.
I had better conversations.
I enjoyed my work more.
I felt more like myself.
So today, there wasn't even a debate.
I knew exactly where I needed to begin.
In this Dionne Daily, I finished the loose watercolor floral I started yesterday and reflected on what I've learned through this creative challenge.
Creating isn't just producing art.
It's preparing my mind.
It's helping me become a better coach, leader, mentor, wife, communicator, and artist.
That's why this practice has become non-negotiable.
