I'm in the middle of a 10 Minutes for 10 Days Creative Challenge, where I've committed to creating for just ten minutes each day. The goal has never been to produce beautiful artwork. The goal has been to build the habit of showing up.
But today, I caught myself slipping into an old mindset.
I wanted today's fashion illustration to be prettier than yesterday's.
I wanted it to impress.
I started thinking about the finished result instead of enjoying the creative process.
