"How do you stay so consistent?"
Today's Dionne Daily is my honest answer.
As I spend another quiet morning painting loose watercolor florals with Painterly Gouache and acrylic inks, I share the question I always come back to when consistency starts to fade:
Why did I start?
Sometimes the answer reminds me to keep going.
Sometimes it reveals that my priorities have changed.
Either way, it replaces guilt with clarity.
Consistency isn't about trying harder.
It's about making sure what you're pursuing still aligns with who you're becoming.
If creating helps you become calmer, think more clearly, lead better, communicate with confidence, or simply feel more like yourself…
Then that's a "why" worth protecting.
Whether you're an artist, creative entrepreneur, writer, maker, or someone trying to build healthier habits, I hope today's conversation encourages you to revisit your own reason for beginning.
