One of the things I've learned over the years is that some of the best canning deals don't happen during canning season—they happen after it.
As stores begin clearing out seasonal inventory and Prime Day brings additional savings, this is one of my favorite times to thoughtfully replace worn tools, stock up on jars and supplies, and prepare for next year's harvest.
Today we'll chat about the canning essentials I use in my own kitchen, what I think is worth buying, what I'd wait on, and how to shop with a plan instead of simply buying because something is on sale.
