Taking down crochet faux locs doesn’t have to be difficult! 💚
I’ve seen so many people accidentally cut their natural hair while removing faux locs, and I’ve been there too. That’s exactly why I wanted to share the takedown method that works for me.
I carefully use a small pair of scissors to snip away the wrapping hair, working my way toward the inner loc at the top portion of the faux loc, closest to my scalp, while being mindful not to cut my natural hair. Once I locate the braid at the top of the faux loc, I gently pull it free, unravel the twist, remove the braid, and the loc slides right out.
