Description
Your children are not supposed to carry the consequences of your selfishness.
Parenthood requires something our culture increasingly struggles with: self-sacrifice.
Children need love, patience, boundaries, correction, protection, and parents willing to put their children's needs ahead of their own comfort.
And biblical discipline isn't about anger or cruelty. It's about loving your children enough to teach them right from wrong and establish healthy boundaries in the home.
I've personally experienced the longing to have children, and it's made me think deeply about the responsibility that comes with raising them.
Children are a gift from God, but that gift comes with an enormous responsibility.
It's not just about whether you love your children - are you willing to sacrifice for them?
