CD Tenerife striker Jesus de Miguel has died a day after suffering a cardiac arrest during a match against FC Andorra.
The game was abandoned after he collapsed following a collision with the opposing goalkeeper, Jesus Owono.
Medical staff treated the player on the pitch before he was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The club confirmed his death on Tuesday.
