“Solo female travel is so dangerous” meanwhile, I’m doing this alone at 5am… #solotravel #rome

Description

Don’t wait around for others to be free in order to experience the world as long as you do your research and stay aware of your surroundings. Stick to main roads where you can (particularly if there aren’t as many people around). Research your hotel in a well-lit area, essentially exercise the same awareness as you would at home (but even more when travelling to new places)! But I also don’t think solo trips should primarily be lead with fear and a constant feeling that somebody bad is about to happen. As long as you’re doing all of the above, research well and are aware, absolutely let yourself enjoy the experiences, the sunrises and sunsets around you and romanticise your trip!!

I’m on a solo trip in Rome and I always try to make sure I wake up extra early for a solo sunrise walk or swim (I’m not naturally a morning person but a night owl so I don’t tend to sleep until 2/3am most days from working and editing late but this is worth the early wake up).

Next video will be seeing the colosseum and the Roman forum during sunrise. Roma, sei bellissima.
