Description
Can one compact telephoto zoom handle subjects near and far? Sal D’Alia took the Sigma Contemporary 50-120mm f/2.8 DC OS to Irvington, NY, on a beautiful fall day to find out.
Built for APS-C cameras, this travel-friendly zoom packs fast autofocus, effective optical stabilization, and distortion-controlling glass into a lens that’s under four inches long and weighs less than a pound. Sal worked his way from the short end of the range to the long end, trying out its close focusing and image stabilization along the way.
Watch to see how it holds up over a real day of shooting.
