Description
Should a convicted murderer and rapist be allowed to study law at McGill University?
Jeffrey George Ewert was convicted of sexually assaulting and murdering a woman in 1984. Just weeks later, he brutally attacked a 15-year-old girl, leaving her with permanent, devastating injuries.
His surviving victim is now blind, paraplegic, and reportedly unable to speak more than one or two words at a time.
More than 40 years later, Ewert is attending McGill University’s Faculty of Law while serving a life sentence on day parole. Some students are now petitioning to have him return to campus
