It’s finally time to get the Volkswagen 1965 Karmann Ghia convertible out of the garage and into the light for the first time in seven years! For $7,000, we’re digging into this classic VW to see exactly what we’re working with.
In today's video, we struggle a bit with the rescue (note to self: bring a jack next time!), but we finally get her out to assess the body, the engine, and that beautiful pre-67 dash. From checking the floor pans to spotting some "lipstick red" overspray and filled-in torsion hole covers, we’re doing a full walkthrough to see if this Ghia is truly 5150mxVW approved.
