What started as a straightforward chassis swap for the FREE rescued 1957 Oval Window VW Beetle turned into a rescue mission!
In this episode, the. rescue continues as we’re dragging the new chassis across the yard and into the driveway to get things moving. But when we jacked up the body, things took a turn—the Beetle literally started splitting in half!
We had to get creative with a Kubota and a heavy-duty strap through the center of the car to pull the body back together and save the build. It was a struggle, but we finally got the '57 lowered onto its new foundation. This old car is now ready for a full build or full restoration.
