On this Sunday Knowledge & Wisdom I’ve organized a collection of licks into a solo that functions in the key of “F” Major.
The study of this lessons solo is all about the phrasing that’s required to resolve each lick into a unique 2-note chord phrase.
We’ll start things off by learning the best “F” Major notes to use an upper 4-string scale layout. This scale tone layout will be the template for where all of our licks come from.
After studying the scale we’ll learn how each guitar lick can resolve into its own “2-bar resolution idea.” Once we combine everything together it can function as one complete 8-bar solo.
