Some pensioners in Atok, Limpopo, have raised concerns about unauthorised deductions from their SASSA grants. 66-year-old,Masotoane Mabotha, says his pension, and that of his 71-year-old brother and 77-year-old sister, have significantly reduced with deductions.
Mabotha says his enquiries with SASSA have not shed any light as to where his money is going.
Avhapfani Munyai reports that earlier this month, SASSA dismissed four officials from the Nebo office in Sekhukhune, suspected of fraud worth R33-million.
