Sity-five-year-old Roster Rasutha claims that Mantsopa Municipality in the Free State has failed to release her pension funds after thirty-nine years of service.
Rasutha and a few workers at the municipality claim that their employer has been deducting their pension contributions for years but has failed to pay them out.
The municipality owes over R4.8 million in outstanding retirement fund contributions, including more than R84.000 in interest on late payments.
